GoPro Karma Grip - First Test - Mountain Biking
I've been dreaming of getting a gimble stabiliser for our GoPro for a very long time. Watching shaky footage from our snowboarding videos has been driving me mad and it gives me a killer headache, literally.
Last week, I finally bit the bullet and purchased one! Thanks to the helpful advice from The Snow Chasers Community, I decided to purchase the GoPro Karma Grip. I'll post up a more detailed review on the GoPro Karma Grip soon but in the meantime, here's a quick summary along with some footage we took yesterday at Mt Taylor Mountain Bike Track here in Victoria.
I'm pretty impressed with how smooth the video was especially when I was running behind Mick and when I had it hanging out of the car whilst we were travelling at 100kmph. I was holding onto it so tight, I swear my knuckles went white! Set up was super easy too, you connect it all together, turn it on and it just works immediately.
Check out the video below from yesterday (click on HD for best viewing). I didn't play around with the actual camera settings because I was too damn excited! But it still gives you an idea of the stabilisation you can get with the GoPro Karma Grip.
