This is my Dragon NFX Mag snowboard goggle review. Dragon has been in the goggle game forever and they have always leaned into big cylindrical lenses and bold frames. The NFX MAG OTG keeps that look but adds a proper magnetic lens system and real glasses compatibility. I picked these up because I wanted a solid riding goggle that plays nice on storm days when I wear glasses instead of contacts.
1. Design and Build
The frame is clean and chunky in a good way. Feels sturdy in your hands and not like some lightweight toy. The magnets are strong enough that I never worried about losing a lens. The strap has good grip and the hinge design sits nicely with a helmet.
Not as ultra premium as Smith or Anon, but it feels like a serious piece of kit and not a budget knockoff.
2. Fit and Comfort
I rode these with and without glasses and they worked both ways. With glasses, I had room at the temples and the foam did not crush the arms. With contacts, they just felt like a normal medium sized goggle. Good face seal and no pressure points around the nose.
If you have a very large face you might prefer a bigger frame like the PXV2, but these should fit most riders well.
3. Lens Performance
Dragon’s Lumalens tech continues to be solid. Nice contrast in flat winter light and a clean view on fresh snow days. Not quite the same optical crispness as Smith ChromaPop or Oakley Prizm in my opinion, but close enough that most riders would never notice unless you swap between them back to back.
Lens quality is strong but still treat them with some respect. If you wipe them when wet you can scratch the coating.
4. Field of View and Ventilation
The cylindrical shape gives a wide field of view side to side. Plenty of peripheral vision and you never feel boxed in. Venting is decent and they stayed fog free in cold and dry weather. In warmer, humid conditions and while hiking boot packs, I did get some fog start to creep in. Once moisture builds, it lingers a bit.
Good performance for resort riding. Not the best for storm season touring and heavy sweating climbs.
5. Pros & Cons
Verdict
The Dragon NFX MAG OTG is a smart pick if you want glasses compatibility without sacrificing style or function. Solid clarity, good comfort and a magnetic system that works in real riding conditions. Not the absolute best anti fog setup for sweaty storm days or long hikes, but for resort riding these are a super strong choice.

Final Thoughts
I like these. They do exactly what I hoped they would. I can throw them on with glasses on storm mornings and not feel like I am compromising anything. The lens clarity is strong, the magnet system works and the frame feels tough enough to live in my pack without babying it.
They are not the best choice if you hike and sweat a lot or if you want the absolute clearest optics on the market. There are pricier options that beat them there. But for resort riding, mixed conditions and anyone who needs real OTG performance without giving up style, the Dragon NFX MAG is a very solid call.
