Welcome to The Snow Chasers—home of questionable decisions and gear we probably didn’t need.
We’re two cold humans who’ve spent a bit too much of our lives in lift lines, boot rooms, and rental cars trying to dry out gloves on the heater vent. We ski. We snowboard. We complain about boots. Then we write about it.
This isn’t some bloated media hub. There’s no SEO intern here. Everything on this site comes from actual days on snow—good ones, bad ones, and a few we’d rather not talk about (but probably will).

If you’re wondering why it’s been a little quiet around here, it’s because—like most people—we’ve had work, injury, gear drama, travel, and a few forgotten passwords to deal with. But we’re back, and we’re building this thing properly now.

What to Expect Here
- Gear reviews that don’t pull punches – Real-world testing, not regurgitated specs.
- Travel guides written by people who’ve actually been – What it’s really like to ski or ride there.
- Opinion pieces (with a bit of bite) – Because someone has to say it.
- Occasional updates, trip reports, or random thoughts from the hill – If it’s snow-related and slightly useful, it might show up.
What Not to Expect
- Top 10 Lists Written by a robot – If we say something’s the best, we’ve actually used it. In real snow. With real consequences.
- “Ultimate Guides” That Never Leave the Lodge – We go outside. We take notes.
- Overly Inspirational Hashtag Vibes – No one here is “manifesting first tracks”. We’re just checking the forecast. Again.
- Fake Positivity – If a board sucks, we’ll say so. If a resort’s overrated, same deal.
A Perfect Upload Schedule – We’re trying. We really are.
Why We’re Doing This
We like gear. We like snow. We like helping other people waste less money on the wrong setup.
This started as a side project between two snow-obsessed misfits, and somehow turned into a place where people actually ask us for advice. Wild. We’re not here to sell you every new board or boot that drops. We’re here to say what actually works – and what doesn’t.
