Epic Pass Hits Perisher
So the Epic Pass just became, well, more Epic.
For those of you who don't know what an Epic Pass is, it's essentially a season pass from Vail Resorts that gives you access to 12 resorts in the US. They've just added Perisher to the list, and it's kind of a big deal. We purchased our Epic Pass before the news came out, so we're super stoked!
US resorts include Breckenridge, Vail, Beaver Creek, Keystone, Canyons, Heavenly, North Star, Kirkwood, Afton Alps, Brighton, Aprahoe Basin and Park City, which is soon to be the largest ski resort in the US. Add to that Perisher in Australia and you've got yourself sorted to hit the snow all year round.
The Epic Pass is incredible value. So much so, that you'll pay for the cost of it in 7 days (and no, I'm not being paid to say that). We purchased one in 2013 and used it during our 3 week holiday in the US. We were amazed at how good value it was. If you're planning to ski or board at any of these resorts for more than 7 days, then it totally makes sense. On the other side of the world, purchase a Freedom Pass from Perisher, which is their season pass and you'll get the benefits of the Epic Pass.
So, I've never snowboarded in Perisher before. This year might be the year!
